Running out of space? Avoid a costly upgrade

$29.00

Product Description

What’s your best option — without buying a new computer?

Our devices are shrinking in size — and that’s fine. But as portability and convenience improve, the shift toward online services has led to a decline in local space — what you can store on your device.

iMacs are now offered with 1 TB (terabyte), but sadly space complaints are among the majority of complaints by owners of a MacBook Air. We wish they came with a warning to evaluate one’s current storage needs and alert the customer they're going “lite.”

The standard 128 GB (gigabyte) in MacBooks and MacBook Airs is 1/8 of the standard capacity of an iMac.  Luckily, there’s no need to buy a new computer to resolve this glaring limitation.

There used to be little alternative than to major surgery for your computer — or purchasing an unwieldy, fragile physical hard drive to bridge the gap and hold all your stuff in two different places. Now there are an enticing array of cost-effective alternatives to add space.

You CAN stay mobile. Laptop owners can upgrade storage capacity at a fraction of the cost of a new system. For pro users, if performance is paramount, schedule a house call to upgrade your Mac’s internal hard drive to a solid state drive (SSD) and enjoy the speed and flexibility that owners of brand new machines have.
